Appealing a decision on your
employer account
Learn who to contact if you have questions about, or disagree with, a decision on your employer account, including employer registration, industry classification, payroll reporting, premium assessment and experience rating. It is important to understand your rights when questioning a decision on your employer account with the WCB. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact the Employer Advisory Centre for guidance.
How to appeal a decision on your employer account
Step 1: Initial review
If you are questioning any decisions made on your employer account, call the WCB at 1-800-667-7590 (toll-free) or 306-787-4370 for an explanation.
If you still disagree after speaking with the WCB, you can submit a first-level appeal.
You must submit appeals at any stage in writing. You can email your appeal to employerservices@wcbsask.com.

Step 2: Assesment committee
If you have completed Step 1 and still disagree with the decision, you can appeal to the assessment committee. Submit your appeal by email to employerservices@wcbsask.com or by mail or fax.

How to submit an appeal
All appeals must be submitted to the WCB in writing by email, mail or fax.
Include:
- the decision you are questioning, including the date and decision maker
- why you disagree with the decision
- how you think we should resolve the matter
- any supporting information
Step 3: Board Appeal Tribunal
